45. What happens if my child’s crown comes off?

If your child’s crown comes off, try to keep it and call our office as soon as possible. We’ll evaluate the tooth and determine whether the crown can be re-cemented or if a new one is needed. In the meantime, avoid chewing on that side of the mouth and keep the area clean to prevent discomfort or damage.
