Typical Costs "With" Dental Insurance, many plans — including most pediatric policies and Medicaid — cover preventive care like exams, xrays, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants at little or no cost for children
-Services beyond preventive care (like fillings or X-rays) may have a copay or coinsurance depending on your specific plan
-Kids 2 years old and younger get FREE exams, FREE X-Rays and FREE Teeth Cleanings
Typical Costs "Without" Insurance:
-Routine exam & cleaning: about $50 – $200 per visit
-Fluoride treatment: $20 – $30
-Dental X-rays: $25 – 150, depending on type and number
-Dental sealants: $30 – $50 per tooth
