2. How often should kids get dental checkups?

The Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends children visit the dentist every six months for regular cleanings and checkups. These visits help us catch small problems early, keep teeth clean and healthy, and make sure your child’s smile is growing the way it should.

Some kids may need to come in more often — especially if they’re prone to cavities, have orthodontic concerns, or need extra monitoring. We’ll always let you know what schedule is best for your child based on their individual needs.
