61. Can a broken baby tooth be saved?
Broken Teeth

In most cases, a broken baby tooth cannot be “saved” in the same way a permanent tooth can, because baby teeth are meant to fall out naturally. However, it’s still very important to see a dentist right away.
Here’s why:
-A dentist can check for injury to the gums, jaw, or permanent teeth underneath
-Smooth any sharp edges to prevent cuts or discomfort
-Treat pain or infection if needed
-Monitor the tooth until it naturally falls out
Even though the tooth may not be saved long-term, prompt dental care ensures your child stays comfortable and avoids complications.
